I could now either install the 2019 LTSC (version 1809) (which will be updated untill 2029) or the new version which will receive updates untill 2027 (or even 2032 for the IoT version)Īs things are looking for now, if I can keep things running untill 2029, that would probably be long enough for me. I do not want to be bothered with too much changes the next few years. so this could very well be the last version I'm gonna use. My own "End of Live" date is slowly coming on the horizon. I want to keep my next Windows setup for as long as possible, and I do not like Windows 11 or receiving big feature updates every 6 month. Can someone please explain to me what is the main difference between LTSC 2021 and the IoT version?
