That’s why it’s a good idea to do nothing identifying when using the Tor Browser, like writing personal information.

The Exit Node can see what data you’re sending, but it can’t see your IP address so it doesn’t know WHO sent it. The Entry Node, can see your IP address but has no idea what data you’re sending, and this goes through several middle nodes, until it reaches the Exit Node. A very basic summary of how Tor works: your internet traffic is routed through several “nodes”. It hides your IP address from the internet, so it’s kind of like using a VPN. It’s a little slow, but better than nothing.
