While it does leave a nasty taste in your mouth, especially with over $40 of day-1 DLC for the full game, I’m interested to see where the story goes in Awakened. It’s fairly common to get DLC announced ahead of the release of the main game, these days. The tragic ending was OK, but Lexine’s powers has yet to be explained. It was just boring and filled with recycled maps. What does this mean? I don’t know, but hopefully it involves Lexine Murdoch from Dead Space: Extraction and Dead Space 2: Severed.

Within a press release citing Dead Space 3′s critical acclaim, EA has announced that story DLC will be coming to Dead Space 3 in March. Just 2 hours after review embargo has lifted, EA has announced an expansion to Dead Space 3.
